Steel roof joists and girders bear onto a structural steel column topped with a steel cap plate. The five-inch deep joist bearing end connects with two 1/2-inch diameter A325 erection bolts, while the seven-and-a-half-inch deep girder bearing end secures with two 3/4-inch diameter A325 erection bolts. Stabilizer plates measuring 6 inches by 3/8 inches by 0 feet 6 inches with 13/16-inch diameter holes are detailed alongside 6-inch by 3/4-inch by 0-foot 6-inch stabilizer plates typical at girders. A 3/16-inch fillet weld is applied typically, and bottom chords remain unwelded to the stabilizer plate unless noted otherwise. Metal roof deck sits above the structural framing members.
