A structural steel hollow structural section column supports an acoustical detail assembly featuring an L4x4x1/4 angle fastened with 1/4-inch diameter by 3-inch self-drilling screws at 3 inches on center. A 3/8-inch knife plate connects using two 3/4-inch diameter A307 bolts at the column and a 3/4-inch diameter A307 bolt at each double angle. Stiffener plates are provided per detail 5 on sheet S4.12, and the connection to the steel bottom chord is detailed per sheet S7.01.
