Concrete masonry unit wall intersections and corners feature continuous horizontal bond beam reinforcement with lap splices in grouted cells. Vertical reinforcement includes number four bars at corners with matching corner bars and dowels at the footing. Control joints incorporate backer rod and sealant on each side with two number four vertical bars on each side of the joint.
