Reinforcing bar placement for a single layer of reinforcement at a concrete corner features alternating bend directions at every other bar and lap splices as indicated unless otherwise noted on plans. Two minimum number five vertical bars are positioned at the corner. Lap splices may be used at bent corner bars typically across the assembly.
