An L3x3x1/4 slab support angle is placed at all sides of the column where the metal deck support is interrupted by floor penetrations or framing geometry. Typical beams connect to the column per standard framing details, and additional slab support angles are required at all column locations lacking a beam or alternative edge support for the deck.
