An interior stepped continuous concrete footing supports a concrete pedestal and building column, adjacent to a fuel oil trench. The continuous footing reinforcement follows the continuous footing schedule with typical 'LST' and 'LSB' lap splices configured at the step transition. The step dimension is limited to a maximum of two feet six inches. Reinforcing bars match the foundation reinforcement requirements and are spaced equally across the step slope.
