A structural steel buckling-restrained brace frames into a steel beam using a steel gusset plate designed by the buckling-restrained brace manufacturer. Beam web connection plates or stiffener plates are provided on each side, supplemented by additional stiffener plates as required by the manufacturer. An angle brace is installed per structural specifications. The steel deck is omitted from this view for clarity.
