Steel floor beams frame into a supporting steel girder web using welded-bolted single-plate shear connections as sized per plan and schedule. The incoming beam webs bolt to shear tabs that are shop-welded to the web of the wide-flange girder. Connection details and plate sizes follow the standards referenced on sheet S5.51.
