A structural steel sag rod connects to a girt channel through an L4x3x1/2x0'-6" long-leg-vertical angle welded with quarter-inch fillet welds. The threaded sag rod passes through the horizontal leg of the angle and is secured with double nuts on both sides of the leg. The angle bracket is welded directly to the web of the girt channel.
