Roof deck sheets overlap at the splice location directly over the top flange of a wide flange beam. Seven Hilti powder-actuated fasteners secure each sheet to the supporting steel member. Fasteners are positioned with a one-inch edge distance from the beam web centerline on both sides of the flange.
