The hollow structural section post measuring six by four inches by three-eighths of an inch thick is spaced at eight feet on center along the deck edge. The post anchors to a half-inch by twelve-inch by one-foot embed plate welded with a five-sixteenth-inch fillet weld. The embed plate secures with four half-inch diameter by two-and-a-half-inch studs at a nine-inch gauge. Deck edge requirements are referenced per detail six on sheet S4.43.
