Level 2 bypass framing details a deflection track secured with two number twelve self-tapping metal screws at eight inches on center, or alternatively a one-inch weld top and bottom at eight inches on center, or two Hilti powder-actuated fasteners through a five-sixteenths-inch base plate at eight inches on center. The cold-formed steel framing utilizes a deflection track with two number twelve self-tapping metal screws connecting to the stud. Vertical stud framing is provided per schedule.
