A structural steel column base plate is anchored to concrete using one and one-quarter inch diameter hooked anchor bolts with leveling nuts. A minimum washer is provided at all oversized holes. A three-inch maximum layer of non-shrink grout fills the space below the base plate, which has a thickness designated in the schedule. The anchor bolts feature a one-foot-zero-inch embedment depth with a four-inch hook extension.
