A steel column bears on a steel base plate set on two inches of non-shrink grout over a concrete footing. Anchor bolts extend eighteen inches into the concrete footing and feature a one-half by four-inch square embed plate at each anchor. A blockout accommodates the concrete slab-on-grade adjacent to the column pier. Reinforcement within the concrete footing is sized per the footing schedule and maintains a three-inch clear cover.
