A W10x88 floor beam connects to a W14x211 column assembly via a 1 1/2-inch end plate secured with twelve 1-inch diameter A325N bolts at the flange and eight 1 1/4-inch diameter F1852 bolts at the web. A stub beam (W10x22) frames into the opposite side of the column with top, bottom, and web flange welds using 3/16-inch fillet welds. A gusset plate measuring 1 1/4-inch by 23 1/2-inches is attached with 1 1/4-inch diameter F1852 bolts, supplemented by horizontal 1-inch by 7 1/4-inch stiffener plates inside the column web. Wood nailers (S4S 3x12 and S4S 3x6) are fastened along the top flanges of the steel beams.
