Precast concrete wall panels at a 90-degree corner connect using an embedded steel angle and plate assembly. A 4x4x3/8-inch angle, five inches long, ties into the concrete corner alongside a 1/2-inch by 8-inch by 8-inch embedded steel plate anchored by two number 5 reinforcing bars at 4 inches on center. A quarter-inch fillet weld secures the steel elements together. The joint incorporates 4x4-W2.1xW2.1 welded wire fabric and is filled with grout after welding.
