Metal roof deck is attached to underlying steel beams or joists with five-eighths-inch diameter puddle welds at end and intermediate supports at twelve inches on center unless noted otherwise. Side laps are fastened with number twelve galvanized screws spaced at twenty-four inches on center unless noted otherwise. A three-inch minimum end lap is required at deck splices over supports.
