This connection utilizes two L4x3 1/2x5/16 inch steel angles to secure a C-beam. The angles are positioned on either side of the channel web, with a 5/16 inch fillet weld connecting the angles to the channel. The bolt pattern is spaced at 3 inches vertically, with 1 1/2 inch edge distances from the top and bottom of the 6-inch tall angle assembly. The horizontal spacing between the bolt lines is 4 inches, with a 1 3/4 inch offset from the channel flange.
