A wide-flange beam is positioned relative to the top of concrete elevation referenced in the structural plans, with the centerline of the wide-flange beam aligned to a designated work point. The gusset plate connection and braces are provided by the manufacturer, with the brace configuration referenced from the elevations. The working point serves as the intersection for the framing centerlines.
