A concrete curb anchors to a corrugated metal deck using epoxy-set dowels. The assembly incorporates half-inch radius rounded corners at the edges and a three-quarter inch concrete clearance. Number three epoxy dowels with a one-hundred-eighty-degree bend at the top are installed into half-inch diameter by three-inch deep drilled holes aligned with the low flutes of the metal deck at twenty-four inches on center. A continuous number three reinforcing bar is positioned at the center of the curb for widths less than or equal to eight inches, while wider curbs receive number three bars at twelve inches on center each way.
