Cross-laminated timber flooring and a glue-laminated beam connect to exterior wall framing with a Simpson SCB bracket and a collector plate sized per plan. Exterior wall studs are supported by the slab or header below, maintaining a maximum offset dimension of one foot four inches. Fasteners secure the collector plate and framing components into the cross-laminated timber panel.
