A tilt-up concrete wall panel bears upon a continuous concrete footing featuring a vertical step in the foundation elevation per plan. The footing step width equals the footing thickness or measures a minimum of eighteen inches, whichever is greater. Longitudinal reinforcing bars slope at the footing step to match and lap with adjacent longitudinal bars. The line of the finish floor and the line of finish grade or exterior slab beyond occur at their respective elevations relative to the foundation assembly.
