A structural steel column is centered on a rectangular base plate with four-inch edge clearances marked for the anchor bolt layout. The wide flange column profile is indicated with dimensional centerlines intersecting at the web and flanges. Six anchor bolts with square washers and hex nuts are arranged symmetrically around the perimeter of the base plate. Weld symbols point to the column web and flange connections to the underlying steel plate.
