Cold-formed steel headers frame into vertical steel stud jambs using structural framing clips and self-drilling screws. Cripple studs bear on top of the header assembly and secure to the track with multiple screws on each side. The header flange connects to each stud using number ten screws on each flange and stud. A stiffener clip attaches the header web to the jamb stud in the reinforced configuration.
