An HSS6x4x3/8 hollow structural section column bears on a structural steel beam below, connected by a quarter-inch fillet weld. A bent plate attaches the HSS column to the assembly, with three-quarter-inch diameter by five-inch headed shear studs embedded in the concrete slab. Pavers are positioned at the concourse level adjacent to the facade and slab edge per plan.
