A sixteen gauge continuous cold-formed steel track bears directly on a cross-laminated timber floor sized per plan. The track is fastened to the timber deck using number ten wood screws at sixteen inches on center, staggered unless noted otherwise. Additional fasteners tie the track flange to the framing.
