A four-inch diameter sleeve is set within a concrete foundation wall and reinforced with specific steel bars placed around the opening. Two number four top and bottom bars span horizontally above and below the sleeve, accompanied by number four diagonal bars positioned on each side. Two number four ties enclose the assembly on each side. Larger penetrations require consultation with the project engineer.
