A rectangular cast-in-place concrete grade beam features longitudinal reinforcement consisting of four number 6 bars on each face, tied into the footing with matching dowels. Transverse reinforcement is provided by number 3 ties spaced at 6 inches on center typically. Concrete cover is maintained at 2 inches clear. Beam width and depth dimensions are sized per plan.
