This structural steel connection features a seven-and-a-half-inch deep girder bearing end supported on a three-quarter-inch bearing plate over a steel cap plate. A WT6x25 section eighteen inches long sits atop the steel column. Steel beams frame into the assembly with two three-quarter-inch diameter erection bolts. Fillet welds of one-quarter-inch size are applied typically as noted. Bottom chords remain unwelded to stabilizer plates unless otherwise noted.
