A 14-gauge Z-closure forms the vertical face of a concrete floor slab step over a structural steel beam and metal deck. Number four reinforcing bars are placed continuously at the top and bottom of the step, with additional number four bars spaced at twelve inches on center. The metal deck and concrete fill thickness are sized per plan. A WT fill beam provides support beneath the step transition.
