A steel stud brace connects to a concrete-filled steel deck and steel beam using a connection angle secured by screw anchors and screws. The top detail attaches the connection angle directly to the underside of the concrete slab over the steel deck using screw anchors. The bottom detail attaches the connection angle to the underside of a supporting steel beam. Screws fasten the brace members to the connection angle in both configurations.
