This structural precast concrete corner joint detail connects intersecting wall panels using embedded steel plates and welded reinforcing. A one-half-inch by eight-inch by one-foot-four-inch plate with three number six bars three feet long at six inches on center is cast into the top panel. A one-half-inch by five-inch by one-foot-four-inch plate with three number six bars at six inches gauge is embedded vertically in the adjacent panel. A three-quarter-inch by two-and-a-half-inch by one-foot-one-inch plate bridges the corner with a three-eighths-inch fillet weld typical. A welded wire fabric mesh of four-by-four W two point one by W two point one reinforces the corner void, which is filled with grout after welding.
