Buckling restrained braces frame into a wide flange steel column web through gusset plates welded to the column flanges and web. One-half-inch thick stiffener plates are welded to each side of the column web aligned with the beam flanges. Gusset plates feature wrap-around end details and connect to the brace assemblies using pin connections. A wide flange beam intersects the column web orthogonally, with specific beam-to-column web connection details referenced to other sheets.
