A buckling-restrained brace connection frames into a wide flange beam. Full-depth stiffener plates measuring one-half inch thick are welded to each side of the beam web. Gusset plates and associated welds are provided per the manufacturer requirements. Fillet welds of five-sixteenths inch are specified on two or three sides as typical connections. The assembly is symmetrical about the centerline.
