An existing precast concrete panel is tied back to an existing concrete wall spanning past an existing steel beam. The connection utilizes a five-eighth-inch by six-inch diameter galvanized plate secured with a one-and-five-eighth-inch diameter hot-dipped galvanized HAS-B-105 threaded rod set in Hilti HIT-RE 500 V3 epoxy with a seven-inch minimum embedment. The anchor location is verified in field to miss existing wall reinforcing, maintaining an eight-inch minimum spacing. A three-inch maximum gap is verified in field between the precast panel and concrete wall, requiring notification to the engineer of record if exceeded. All new anchor holes are filled with adhesive, and waterproofing is applied per site-specific details.
