A joist girder bears onto a one-and-a-quarter-inch seat plate connected to the steel column. Bolted connections feature no slots at the bolt holes. A stabilizer plate is welded with a five-sixteenth-inch fillet weld on three sides. The vertical dimension varies as specified on plan.
