Precast concrete wall panels meet at a mitered exterior corner with an internal 4x4-W2.1xW2.1 welded wire fabric reinforcement. The corner connection utilizes an L4x4x3/8-inch angle five inches long and a 1/2-inch by 8-inch by 8-inch plate with two embedded #5 reinforcing bars three feet long spaced at 4 inches on center. A 1/4-inch fillet weld secures the embedded steel components, followed by grouting after welding is complete. Additional wall reinforcement consists of #4 bars spaced at 15 inches on center.
