A forty-eight by thirty by three-quarter inch A992 steel base plate anchors a structural steel brace frame to a concrete foundation using eight three-quarter inch diameter F1554 Grade thirty threaded rods with double nuts over three-quarter by four by four inch steel plate washers and one and one-half inch non-shrink grout with twelve-inch embedment. A three and one-half inch deep by two-inch thick by twenty-six inch long A36 steel shear lug is welded beneath the base plate with five-sixteenth inch fillet welds.
