A concrete slab on metal deck bears on a structural steel edge beam and framing beam, supported by a continuous 12-gauge metal edge form. Reinforcing includes continuous bars at the edge and number 3 bars spaced at 12 inches on center. A puddle weld connects the metal deck to the supporting beam flange. An L5x5x3/8 angle is placed at a maximum 10-foot spacing as sized per plan and aligned with the beam on the opposite side.
