A W18 diagonal brace connects to the intersection of a vertical W30 column and a horizontal W30 beam at a common work point. The connection utilizes complete joint penetration groove welds for the members. Additional W18 members frame symmetrically into the assembly. A general note directs attention to another sheet for connections at the lower flange.
