A precast C12 channel stringer supports a two-inch lightweight concrete stair tread over a 12-gauge bent plate. The tread assembly connects to the stringer web using 1-1/2 inch by 1-1/2 inch angles on each side of the tread with a 5/16-inch fillet weld. The channel base plate measures 3/8 inch by 3-1/2 inches and anchors into the concrete with two 3/4-inch diameter embed anchors spaced per plan.
