A concrete column receives an embed plate assembly anchored by welded head studs and tied to post-tensioned tendons located per plan. Eleven galvanized half-inch diameter cable rails rated at 270 ksi attach to the assembly, with a final tension of 3,000 pounds required in each cable. The embedded steel plate measures five-eighths by seven inches by four feet zero inches long and features eight three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch welded head studs spaced at six inches on center.
