Steel joists bear beneath a metal roof deck with a one-inch maximum clearance at a concrete tilt-up wall panel. An angle brace extends per plan to the concrete tilt-up panel with a minimum of four per panel. A three-sixteenth-inch fillet weld connects the assembly on three sides. An embedded note specifies that if the angle brace is located at the embed required by detail nine on sheet S5.1, an additional embed is not required.
