A buckling restrained brace connects to a continuous gusset plate welded at the intersection of a wide flange column and wide flange beams. The gusset plate integrates with stiffener plates sized per the brace manufacturer specifications and approved shop drawings. Collector connections and frame-beam to column connections tie into the assembly alongside concrete fill over metal deck where specified per plan. The centerline of the wide flange column and beams align with the working point of the brace.
