Two adjacent cross-laminated timber roof panels are joined at a spline connection centered on a layout line. An LDSS48 Simpson strap spans across the joint and is fastened with 0.148-inch by 2-1/2-inch nails at 4-inch spacing installed per manufacturer recommendations.
