Standard reinforcing bar hook configurations define the minimum bend diameters, tail extensions, and overall dimensions for 180-degree and 90-degree standard hooks. The 180-degree hook incorporates a diameter d, bend diameter D, extension J, and a tail extension of 4d or 2 1/2 inches minimum. The 90-degree hook features bend diameter D, dimension A or G, and a 12d extension beyond the bend.
