A recessed concrete pit opening is framed with hot-dip galvanized L3x3x1/4 angles lining the perimeter and interior corners. Concrete edges feature a three-quarter inch typical chamfer. Pit dimensions are verified against purchased equipment per field notes, and certain areas are left unwelded as indicated. Additional coordination is required with referenced exterior elevation notes and panel details.
