This structural steel connection joins diagonal braces to a wide-flange column and wide-flange beam intersection along the strong axis. Gusset plates tie the braces into the column and beam framing, reinforced with half-inch plate stiffeners located per the core brace schedule. Five-sixteenth-inch fillet welds are applied on three sides typically at the brace connections. Additional beam connections are referenced to plan and sheet S4.50.
