A ledger angle is welded to the web of a structural steel beam, with the top of steel elevation sized per plan. Three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds are specified at twelve-inch spacing typical along the angle connection. A three-quarter-inch diameter headed stud is welded to the horizontal leg of the ledger angle at twenty-four inches on center typical. The ledger angle size and main beam size are both specified as sized per plan unless otherwise noted.
