A reinforced concrete equipment pad rests on a roughened concrete floor slab, connected by drilled and adhesive-anchored dowels with a four-inch embedment. The pad features number four reinforcing bars spaced at twelve inches on center each way in both top and bottom mats. Number three hooked bars wrap around the exterior of the pad, spaced to match the pad reinforcing and anchored into the supporting slab.
